Consider updating your NIC driver
UEFI / BIOS
- ASRock UEFI: Advanced → ACPI Configuration
- PCIE Devices Power On:

Windows
Deactivate fast startup
- open Power Options (
powercfg.cpl) - Choose what the power button does
- Change settings that are currently unavailable (possible UAC prompt)
- Uncheck: Turn on fast startup (recommended)
Power Options
- open Power Options (
powercfg.cpl) - Change plan settings (on currently selected plan)
- Change advanced power settings (possible UAC prompt)
- Sleep → Allow wake timers → Setting: Enable
- PCI Express → Link State Power Management (ASPM) → Setting: Maximum power savings (L1)

- open Network Connections (
ncpa.cpl) - right-click the NIC for ethernet (e.g. Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller) → Properties (possible UAC prompt)

- Check: Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer
